Change a User's Permissions

You can change someone’s permissions by updating their role in the property’s sharing settings.


Step-by-Step

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Select the Property
  3. Go to Sharing / Access
  4. Find the person whose permissions you want to change

    Select a new role for them:

    • Property Owner
    • Property Manager
    • Family Member
    • Friend
  5. Save or confirm the change

What to Expect

  • Their access will update immediately
  • They may see more or less information depending on the new role
  • Changes apply across the entire property

Important Notes

  • Only Property Owners can change permissions
  • Changing someone to Owner gives them full control
  • You can update roles at any time

Common Issues

I don’t see the option to change roles

You may not have Owner permissions.


They still see the same things

Ask them to refresh or log out and back in.


I gave too much access by mistake

Simply change their role back to a lower level.
