Change a User's Permissions

You can change someone’s permissions by updating their role in the property’s sharing settings.
Step-by-Step
- Go to your Dashboard
- Select the Property
- Go to Sharing / Access

Find the person whose permissions you want to change
Select a new role for them:
- Property Owner
- Property Manager
- Family Member
- Friend
- Save or confirm the change
What to Expect
- Their access will update immediately
- They may see more or less information depending on the new role
- Changes apply across the entire property
Important Notes
- Only Property Owners can change permissions
- Changing someone to Owner gives them full control
- You can update roles at any time
Common Issues
I don’t see the option to change roles
You may not have Owner permissions.
They still see the same things
Ask them to refresh or log out and back in.
I gave too much access by mistake
Simply change their role back to a lower level.
